My septic tank is close to my house. I had some cement patio poured over top of it but installed a fire ring where the clean out access cover is. I have sand in the bottom of the ring and was planning on adding some cement fire board on top of that. I am not sure if there was a leak would my septic tank explode?

Most campgrounds have a fire ring where the camper can build a fire to roast weiners and marshmallows. These commercial pine cones add colors to the flames, like green and blue. How do I make them myself?

I have a metal 24 inch round fire ring I would like to place in a uni-lock retaining wall stone type of round enclosure (no mortar/ not permanent). Our town follows the standard building codes and was wondering if there was a required distance from a deck/house we had to follow, and no, I don’t really want to talk to the zoning officer about this.
I plan about 10 feet from our pressure treated deck at this point….
